'People suffer for ignoring Dharma'

Panvel (Maharashtra): People do not seem to follow Dharma in prevailing lifestyle; hence they suffer, said H.B.P. Rameshvar Maharaj Shastri, deputy chairman of Warkari Mahamandal, in a Kirtan during ‘Non-stop Chanting of God’s Name for a week’ (Akhand Harinam saptah’) from 8-15 April, organized by Gramastha Mandal of Sukapur, Panvel in Vitthal Rakhumai Temple completing 35 years.

Shri. Sitaram Mhaskar, Deputy Sarpanch of  Sukapur, Shri. Pandurang Keni, membr of Grampanchayat, Shri. Eknath Bhopi, Haribhaktaparayan Janardan Patil, Haribhaktaparayan Pandurang Mhaskar, Haribhaktaparayan Lakdubuva Patil, many office bearers of Sukapur Gramastha Mandal and hundreds of villagers were present. 

H.B.P. Ganesh Maharaj Patil from Moho gave a discourse during which he made the gathering take a vow to utter ‘God’s Name’ instead of ‘Hello’.

Chatrapati Shivaji Maharaj has been retired from Text Books! 

H.B.P.Haribhaktaparayan Rameshvar Maharaj Shastri said, “We are taking our younger generation far away from our rich culture. We have a centre at home only to spoil them. Chatrapati Shivaji Maharaj is also being retired from the school textbooks. It appears that after some years children would not be able to describe Shivaji Maharaj. It is necessary to mould tem today rather than securing their future.” While talking about ‘Parmarth’ he said, “The people in the house having no ‘Temple’ are devils. Ravan’s Lanka had everything but temple; so hanuman could burn it. Whatever you achieve in Parmarth is not so by anything else. So start it right now!”

H.B.P. Rameshvar Maharaj Shastri said, “Sanatan’s Ashram is very close to me. All seekers in the Ashram are serving Nation and Dharma selflessly leaving their home, household. If everyone tries to serve like them then we can achieve past glory again. Whenever there is attack on Dharma, I receive telephone calls from none others but these seekers. We have worked together in opposing the Law of ‘Eradicating blind faith’. The Law could not pass. If it were to pass then there would not have been this weekly celebration today. I am always associating with them to accomplish their mission. “I also do not know, ‘Why to observe Ekadashi – Auspicious day’, ‘why apply kumkum and gandh (sandalwood paste) and what is the scriptural reason’; but they say that they teach Sanskars and we should go there. We should support their mission.”
