Mumbai : Mr. Shivaji Vatkar found a plastic sachet having ‘Ma Kali’s’ picture printed on it by ‘Shiv-Shakti Foods’ in garbage. All the four sides of the sachet had Ma Kali’s pictures in the form of trident. Mr. Vatkar being a Hindu and a devotee of the Goddess called the owner of the company, Mr. Anil Dene and told him, “There is a picture of Ma Kali in the form of trident with nose ring, eyes and face and if this sachet having the picture of the Deity is thrown in toilet, garbage, gutter, then it amounts to denigration of the Deity. This could be sinful also.” Hearing this Mr. Dene immediately agreed to remove the Deity’s picture from that production and thanked Mr. Vatkar.
