Argentina University Offers Degree in Yoga and Integral Health

ARGENTINA : The University Institute of Gran Rosario (IUGR), announces the opening of a new undergraduate program for the 2016 cycle: the Technical University Degree in Yoga and Integral Health. This undergraduate program aims to train upper level technicians in Yoga, with theoretical-practical knowledge on integral health based in traditional and current academic contents; with a faculty with renowned prestige in their disciplines.

The syllabus systematizes the knowledge and techniques that come from multiple traditional sources of Yoga, with contents about Ayurveda, Nutrition, Quality of Life, Integral Therapies, Corporal Techniques, Philosophy and Meditation. It will combine theoretical knowledge with hours of practice with the objective of obtaining the experience that a University Technician needs for the practice of his profession.

This degree is taught in covenant with the Prema Foundation of Ayurveda Health, which collaborates with the Gujarat Ayurved University (Jamnagar – India) The technician in Yoga and Integral Health will have a solid training in the practices, sources and foundations of Yoga, with specific knowledge about posture, meditation, relaxation and breathing techniques that are typical of this ancient discipline; as well as complementary knowledge that will allow him to transmit, organize and guide groups and individuals that wish to improve their quality of life.
