File case of sedition against MIM MLA Imtiyaz Jalil : Shiv Sena

Issue of making insulting statement about national anthem

Sangli : MIM’s MLA Imtiyaz Jalil had made a venomous statement while talking on a news channel that the farce of national anthem should be stopped. He has hurt nationalist sentiments of several patriots; therefore, case of sedition should be filed against him and his election to the post of MLA should be revoked. Demonstrations were held by Shiv Sena for the above demands at Station Chowk on 3^rd December; followed with submission of representation to the District Collector. Shiv Sena’s Shri. Dharmendra Koli said, “MIM has been set up with black hands of anti-Hindu ‘Razakars’. Its MLA Imtiyaz Jalil has purposely made such statement to disturb communal harmony and Shiv Sena openly condemns his statement. The other office bearers of Shiv Sena present on the occasion were Shri. Ajinkya Patil, Dy. District-Chief; Shri. Nitin Kale, Dy. City-Chief; Shri. Anil Shete, Sangli Taluka-Chief; ‘Shiva-Udyog Sahakar Sena’s Dy. District President Shri. Pundit Tatya Karade, Shri. Abhijit Danekar, Shri. Mahadev Magdum. Shri. Mahendra Chandale, Shri. Amol Patil, Shri. Deepak Waghmare, Shri. Pradip Barge, Shri. Vinod More, Shri. Gajanan Kharat etc. along with Shiv Sainiks.
