Complaint lodged by devout Hindu with police against ‘Hindustan Times’

Congratulations to Shri. Vinod Kothari for raising voice against denigration of Hindu Deities ! Nobody will dare to say anything against Hindus’ Deities if there are such devout Hindus everywhere !

Mumbai : Shri. Vinod Kothari, a devout Hindu has lodged a complaint with Colaba police station against Editor, publisher and owner of ‘Hindustan Times’ for publishing articles with half-nude and indecent pictures of Hindus’ Deities drawn by Anjolie Ila Menon, hurting religious sentiments of Hindus. On 23^rd November issue of Hindustan Times, in its column ‘HT Café’ published on page 6 of this newspaper, there were pictures of Parvati and Yashoda Mata in half-clad state. Anjolie Ila Menon drawing such indecent pictures of Hindu Deities, had however, drawn picture of Mother Mary worshipped by Christians, as fully dressed. VHP’s Shri. Arun Kavadi, Shri. Vishal Patani, Shri. Harishji Pillai, Shri. Ramesh Purohit etc. were present on the occasion. It was stated in the complaint that those, who are deliberately hurting religious sentiments of Hindus, should be arrested filing cases against them and action should be taken against the exhibition of distorted pictures scheduled to be held from 26^th November to 31^st December at ‘Art Musings(Art Gallery)’ in Mumbai.

Hindu Janajagruti Samiti has also started ‘on line protest drive’ against this exhibition and sent letter to Art Musings demanding cancellation of this exhibition.
