Mumbai : ‘Rashtriya Hindu Andolan’ by pro-Hindu organizations on issues of national interest and security

Police seen in large numbers at the Rashtriya Hindu Andolan

‘Namaz’ –reading going on at unauthorized place near ATC Tower in Santacruz airport area should be immediately stopped; stringent action should be taken against 20 Bangladeshi youth from Bhiwandi planning to join ISIS; as also against all those supporting them and giving them shelter; and considering murders of ‘Gou-rakshak’ Prashant Paujari of Bajarang Dal in Karnataka and constant brutal attacks on ‘Gou-rakshaks’ taking place all over the country, activists working for protection of cows should be allowed to hold weapons for self-defence. The above demands were made during demonstrations held on 21st November, under auspices of ‘Rashtriya Hindu Andolan’ at Mirajkar Smarak Chowk, Andheri (E); opposite Swami Narayan Mandir, Dadar (E) and Jambhali Naka, Thane on behalf of all pro-Hindu organizations.

Highlights

  1. More than 70, 60, and 25 devout Hindus including activists from various pro-Hindu organizations participated in demonstrations held at Dadar, Andheri and Thane respectively.
  2. Devout Hindus were carrying boards and raising slogans which attracted attention of citizens and they stopped to see what the demonstrations were for.
  3. Demonstrations were held despite continuous rain at Thane. Hundreds of citizens signed the representation on the occasion for submitting to the Government.
  4. Local police extended cooperation to Hindutvavadis at Andheri and Thane; however, at Dadar, police harassed them.

In the name of maintaining law and order and restrictions on gathering people, police issued notice to Shri. Prasad Mankar of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) at Dadar and forced to wind up demonstrations before time.

Demonstrations were held near Swami Narayan Mandir at Dadar (East). Senior police inspector, Shri. B. H. Kakad of Matunga police station issued notice to Shri. Prasad Mankar of HJS; under clause 149 of Criminal Procedure Code giving reason of maintaining law and order so also restrictions on gathering of people. After giving notice to Shri. Mankar, police tried to collect names of other activists of HJS and tried to extract details from them; taking down their names etc.

Necessary permission was taken for holding demonstrations from 5.00 p.m. to 6.30 p.m.; however, Matunga police constantly kept on telling activists that the permission was given only for one hour. Owing to such bullying by police, demonstrations were stopped at 6.15 p.m. Police deployed at the venue, did video-shooting of the demonstrations. Remove unauthorized prayer-place in Santacruz airport area for security of the country ! – Shri. Ajay Shelar, Hind Swaraj Pratishthan

Despite continuously writing to local police station and GVK company about ‘namaz-reading’ at unauthorized place near Mumbai airport, no action has been taken by either of them. Terrorists can easily take advantage of the situation for carrying out bomb blasts; therefore, the unauthorized shed erected with the help of bamboos and tarpaulin near parking places at ATC Tower at the domestic airport of Santacruz, should be immediately removed is our demand. Through the agitations, we will continue to fight for our demand, till the construction remains undemolished.

Immediate action needs to be taken against unauthorized ‘namaz-reading’ ! – Dr. Uday Dhuri, HJS – Mumbai spokesperson

Mumbai airport falls under a very sensitive and peaceful region and has always been on the hit-list of terrorists. It is very serious matter from security point of view that at such place namaz is read in shed erected in unauthorized manner; therefore, we demand that immediate action be taken. We all Hindu brethren condemn local police and Government administration, besides GVK Company for allowing such illegal things. 20 Bangladeshi youth and fanatics from other parts of India were all set to join ISIS; therefore, police should take stringent action against them instead of trying to reform them.

We should be allowed to carry weapons for protection of our mother – Shri. Dinesh Solanki, Hindu Ekata Manch

Cow is our mother. Considering the way ‘Gou-rakshaks’ are attacked these days, we should be granted permission to carry weapons. Also, those assisting ISIS should be punished severely.

Let us all unite for establishment of Hindu Rashtra ! – Shri. Shivashankar Tiwari, a devout Hindu

Presently, we are living in insecure atmosphere. Hindus are engulfed with multiple problems. Only establishment of Hindu Rashtra will help in getting rid of these problems; so let us unite for accomplishing this mission.

Hindus should unite for protection of cows ! – Shri. Prabhakar Bhosale, Shivakarya Pratishthan, Vikhroli

Cow-slaughter is still taking place on large scale in this country. Unification of Hindus on this issue will create awe amongst those who are involved in this; therefore, Hindus should unite for protection of cows.

Give protection to ‘Gou-rakshaks’ ! – Shri. Sushilkumar Verma, Shiva-Pratishthan Hindustan

Shivaji Maharaj always protected cows. The Government should keep him as ideal and take steps towards protection of cows and providing protection to ‘Gou-rakshaks’.

‘Gou-rakshaks’ need to have weapons for self-defence !- Shri. Raju Kadam, Hindu Ekata Sangharsh Samiti

After murder of Shri. Prashant Pujari, no help was extended to his family; whereas in Dadri issue, Muslims were given aid immediately. Why is there so much of disparity. ‘Gou-rakshaks’ should be given permits to carry weapons in self-defence.

Karnataka Govt. is killing Hindus – Shri. Vikram Bhoir, Vishwa Hindu Parishada

Prashant Pujari used to sell flowers as also worked for protection of cows in Karnataka. During BJP regime, Act banning cow-slaughter was implemented in that State; but Congress Government lifted the ban for appeasement to get votes. In Maharashtra also even if such law has been passed, still pampering is going on resulting in cow-trafficking. Arrest the murderers of Prashant Pujari immediately. The same Karnataka Government has created row over Tipu Sultan. Karnataka Government is working for killing Hindus. This Government’s policy is to kill those who are trying to protect cows.

Are we in India or in Pakistan ? – Shri. Manoj Surve, Hindu Mahasabha

No representative of Karnataka Government visited Prashant Pujari’s house after his murder; but when a Muslim died at Dadri, all leaders went for consoling the family and extended financial aid of Rs. 47 lakhs; besides giving job in Government office. Prashant Pujari, however, gets nothing. The Government will help only those consuming beef and if something happens to them; it will give millions to them in addition to jobs. Then, will it be wrong if we start doubting whether we are living in India or in Pakistan?

We should realize the importance of cow ! – Sou. Radha Surve, Sanatan Sanstha

If cow-slaughter continues with such manner, we will have to search for cows in future to offer ‘naivedya’. All Hindu brethren should therefore, support ‘Gou-rakshaks’ because they are not protecting cows in own interest but are doing it for protection of Hindu Dharma. All of us need to realize the significance of cow in our life.

Those joining ISIS should be declared as traitors ! – Sou. Vedika Palan, HJS

Some people from our district go and join ISIS; but we feel nothing about it. All those people and organizations joining and supporting ISIS should be declared as traitors and action should be taken against them. If a person stands near Mumbai airport just for ten minutes, security guards question him and here, nothing is said to those coming for unauthorized ‘namaz-reading’.
