‘Gou-pujan’ performed at Varanasi on the occasion of ‘Gopashtami’

Varanasi (Uttar Pradesh) : Varanasi’s District Collector, Shri. Rajamani Yadav made an appeal that every citizen should keep at least one cow. On the occasion of ‘Gopashtami’, on 19th November, Shri. Jagajit Pandeya of ‘Dharmasangh Shiksha Mandal’ had organized a program of ‘Gou-pujan’. Every year, this Mandal organizes ‘Gou-pujan’ program on the day of ‘Gopashtami’. A procession was also taken out which was joined by several ‘Gou-patrons’ and while concluding the procession, ‘Gou-pujan’ was performed by all.
