First Hindu Dharmajagruti meet held at Vijaywada in AP

February 21, 2009

Magh Krushna Dvadashi

Vijaywada (Andhra Pradesh): One who reveres deities and follows one's Dharma is true Hindu. Incompetence of our rulers is the only cause of rampant terrorism in our country. Western culture is only a 'Day's' culture; is short-lived whereas Hindu culture is eternal. The above statement was made by Brahmashree Pramod chaitanya Swamiji in his address at Arts school in Durgapur. The meet was organized by HJS and was attended by 600 Hindus. It started at 5.00 p.m.with lighting of a lamp by Brahmashree Pramod Chaitanya Swamiji, founder of Arsha Vidyabharati, Guntgur. There also was auspicious presence of Pujya Sri Sri Sri Mata Shivachaitnyanandji, the founder of 'Chaitanya Tapovan' besides, Shri. Chalasani Balaramayya (CBR Prasad), the founder president of CBR sports school, Shri. Chetan Janardan of Sanatan Sanstha and Shri. Ramanjaneyulu of HJS.

Mrs. Soumya Kudaravalli and Kum. Tejaswini Madbhushi compered the program. Shri. Dayakar Namal presented a review of HJS activities and Mrs. Vinita Shetty, representative of 'Sanatan Prabhat', a group of Hindu periodicals was felicitated on the occasion.

Police try to record speeches and threaten devout Hindus

A policeman in plain clothes approached the podium during speech of Shri. CBR Prasad as he wanted to video-record; but the speakers came forward to admonish him. He, then, went up to police vehicle parked outside. Few devout Hindus followed him and asked him for his name, buckle number etc which he refused to give; moreover, he threatened them. (What do these police think of themselves? Why do they forget that their salary comes from tax paid by Hindus? - editor)

It is the job of the respective branch, viz. LIB or Special Branch, of the police to record the public speeches and report them to the higher authorities. I don't see why a policeman should be prevented from noting down speeches. He can even do so without the HJS volunteers knowing it.
