HJS organizes Vasudev Balvant Phadake’s Smirti Din in Udupi

Udupi (Karnataka) :Under the auspicious of HJS a programme was organized in Kadiyali Higher Primpary School of Udupi today to awake patriotism among young genration. The program was organised on occasion of “Smriti Din” of the great freedom fighter Sri. Vasudev Balavant Rao Phadke.

The programme was started with prayer and lighting the lamp by Sri.Sadananda Sharma, Head Master of the School. District Chief Secretary of hindu yuva sena sri vasudev bhat  delivered informative lecture very effectively about Sri.Phadke. He explained the students how Sri.Phadke fought for the freedom of our country. So it is our prime duty to remember him on today. But our young generation instead of keeping these people as idols following film actors and cricket players.

Ex-servicemen of Indian Air Force Sri.B.K.Salian was honoured on this occasion by Sri.Bhujanga Shetty, Trustee, Sri.Mahalingeshwara Temple, Bannanje, Udupi. Later Sri.B.K.Salian thanked HJS for recognising and honouring ex-servicemen on this occasion. He was very glad with this campaign and suggested to continue this campaign for awakening patriotism among youths in all schools across the district.

Sri.Suresh Kakkunje of HJS was also present on the dais. Sri.Rajesh of HJS compeered the program. About 120 students were present in the program. The program was concluded with singing Vande Mataram by school children.
