Hindus are not abiding by Dharma, is most unfortunate : H.B.P. Dasharath Maharaj Bhopatkar

Second day of regional Hindu Convention of Mumbai, Thane, Raigad districts

H.B.P Dashrath Maharaj Bhopatkar

Ulhasnagar : Sanatan Sanstha is working for Hindu Dharma; therefore, whenever Sanatan gives a call, I will come. Hindu Dharma is under constant attack. We too explain importance of ‘Dharmashikshan’ through our ‘keertan’ and lectures. If a Hindu does not abide by his Dharma, it is most unfortunate. It is necessary that we should be pure from within and not just clean from outside,” stated H.B.P. Dasharath Maharaj Bhopatkar, Konkan-region Dharmachari of Vishwa Hindu Parishada (VHP) during the second day session on the topic of ‘Dharmacharan’ and benefits of spiritual practice’. Other sessions and addresses by dignitaries are given below.

Session 1

Benefits of Dharmacharan and undertaking spiritual practice

…then future generation will be committed to prevent ‘Dharma-haani’ ! –Adv. Shri. Jayesh Tikhe, Hindu Mahasabha

Muslims are imparted knowledge on their religion but it did not happen in case of Hindus. Every Hindu should therefore, have Dharmashikshan and act accordingly; only then the future generations will be committed to prevent harm caused to Dharma.

Hindus should come forward to prevent attacks on Hindu Dharma , abiding by Dharma and having faith in God ! – Adv. Navin Chomal, Supreme Court

During earlier eras, there were evil tendencies like Hiranykashyapu, Ravana, Kansa etc. Similar tendencies are there even today and in fact, they are on rise. We have been chosen by Shrikrushna for Dharmakarya and we should come forward to prevent attacks on Dharma ,abiding by Dharma and with faith in God.

Highlights : During this session, Shri. Vijay Sargar from Chembur and Shri. Prashant Vaity from Nalasopara narrated their experiences and changes observed in them after attending Dharmashikshan classes.

Session 2

Problems faced at ideological, organisational and legal levels during work related to protection of Dharma and solutions to them

Work related to prevention of attacks on Hindu Dharma should be done with unity ! – Adv. Shri. Veerendra Ichalkaranjikar, Hindu Vidhidnya Parishada

If different organizations come together and undertake the mission of prevention of attacks on Hindu Dharma, it will be more effective. The organizations could be different in nature but Hindu Rashtra is their soul and accordingly, they should work with unity.

Foil the conspiracies hatched against Hindu Dharma and extend strong support to Hindu brethren ! – Shri. Ramesh Shinde, national spokesperson, HJS

It was proved in the Court that a VCD was prepared on computer for defaming Swami Nityanand in Southern India and the Court ordered ‘Star Vijay’ news channel to telecast explanation in this regard for seven days continuously. Shankaracharya Swami Jayendra Saraswati of Kanchi Kamakoti Peetha was arrested during Diwali by leveling false charges against him. In North-East, Swami Lakshmananand Saraswati was killed by Christian terrorists; firing 16 bullets at him. Accusations have been made even against ‘Pujyapad’ Asaramji Bapu and he is under arrest although there are no proofs against him. Hindus should not fall prey to such conspiracies. If 20,000 Muslims can attend funeral of anti-national Yakub Memon, who was given death sentence by Court and terrorist Kasim who was killed an encounter with Indian army, we should support Hindus. We should show by our action that let others make any accusations, we will not go away from Hindus because it is a conspiracy to divide Hindus.

Session 3

Hindutvavadis will be benefited if they develop good relations and closeness with media ! – Shri. Unmesh Gujarati, Editor, Mumbai-Mitra

It is said that the present media is secular. Hindus should therefore, present their firm stand with conviction and proper study. After Samir Gaikwad’s issue, how many of us tried to counter accusations by writing letters to newspapers by properly studying the matter ? It will not be right to say that media is anti-Hindu. Develop good relations and contacts with them. Study their ways and try to explain Hindus’ side in the manner that they will understand.

I was working with a newspaper earlier. There was a Muslim reporter working with me and he used to always give anti-Hindu news. He used to take care that Hindus’ stand would not be brought before people. Similarly, we should send such reporters to media who have ideologies like us; then only, they would strongly present our stand.

The regional Convention was concluded with discussion session between Shri. Paras Rajput, Shri. Ramesh Shinde, Shri. Abhay Vartak and Shri. Sumit Sagavekar.
