Devotees cheated by giving 30 gms of ‘ladu-prasad’ in place of  50 gms weight !

*Another scam of Pashchim Maharashtra Devasthan Samiti exposed !

*Devotees must realize adverse effects of Govt. managing temples !

*Hindus should unite for taking to task those who are cheating devotees !

Kolhapur : Pashchim Maharashtra Devasthan Samiti is cheating devotees through packets of ‘ladu’ given as ‘prasad’; as the ‘ladu’ is sold as 50 gms in weight when it is actually, only 30 gms. (How long should such Govt. Mandir Samiti should be allowed to work even after cheating devotees through scam in ‘prasad’ of Devi ? – Editor, Dainik Sanatan Prabhat) Pieces of cashew- raisins are not found in ‘ladu’ and it is prepared by getting readymade ‘bundis’. In many packets, there are broken ‘ladus’ and only loose ‘bundi’ is found. Devotees have lodged complained with Devasthan. As a result, on 19th October, Devasthan Committee issued notice to the contractor. (Hindu Janajagruti Samiti and Hindu Vidhidnya Parishada have earlier exposed huge misappropriation of funds by the Devasthan Committee. This instance of ‘laddu’ shows that there is no improvement in ways of management by Devasthan Committee. Devasthan Committee has failed to provide facilities to devotees; therefore, devotees should unite and fight against Devasthan Committee, demanding its dissolution. – Editor, Dainik Sanatan Prabhat)

In Shri. Mahalakshmi Devi Temple, devotees are sold one ‘ladu’ for Rs. 5.00 as ‘prasad’. On the following day of Navaratri, contract to make ‘laddu-prasad’ was changed by issuing tenders and the contract was given to Siddhartha Multi-purpose Seva Sanstha since it quoted the lowest. The contractor has however, no previous experience of such job and from his first day, there has been shortage of ‘prasad’ packets. Devotees are not getting ‘laddu-prasad’. As per the contract, weight of ‘ladu’ should be 50 gms; but two days back, it was observed that the contractor has cheated devotees by selling 30 gm ‘ladu’ in place of ‘ladu’ with 50 gms weight.
