Representation submitted to Bangladesh President on oppression of Bangladeshi Hindus

Congratulations to devout Hindus from Bengal who have raised voice against oppression of Hindu brethren from Bangladesh !

Kolkata : Shri. Subhash Chakravarty, Secretary of ‘Nikhil Banga Nagarik Sangh’ has sent a representation to the President of Bangladesh on oppression of minority Hindus in that country; demanding to take measures for prevention of atrocities against Hindus.

As per the information given in the representation, out of 64 districts of Bangladesh, in 45 districts, condition of Hindus is like living in a hell. 128 temples have been demolished and 255 houses of Hindus have been set on fire; besides looting of 21 shops of Hindus and setting them on fire. 500 houses of Hindus have been adversely affected in violence and such oppression has been carried out by members of ‘Jamat-e-Islami’ organization with the connivance of local administrative officers. As a result, Hindus, who were 50% of the population at the time of division, are only 12 % now.
