Haliyal (Karnataka) : Navaratri festival has started from 13th October. In this background, ‘Prabhat-pheri’ was taken out on 13th October in the morning at Tergaon, Haliyal taluka, North Canara District, Karnataka on the occasion of ‘Ghat-sthapana’. Devout local residents participated in the ‘prabhat-pheri’. Taluka-Coordinator of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti, Shri. Vithoba Mhalasekar gave guidance on Shri. Durgadevi’s, worshipping that was held at Shri. Maruti Mandir after the ‘pheri’. The program of guidance started by HJS will continue for all 9 days and every day, HJS will give necessary information about celebration of the festival in ideal manner.
