Nasik – On 25th September, Sadhus, Saints, Mahants who had come for the last ‘Rajyogi Snan’ of ‘Simhastha-Parva’, were welcomed in a traditional way by Sanatan Sanstha and Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS). Seekers carried banners to welcome Sadhus at various places in Trimbakeshwar and the banners were quite eye-catching. At ‘Kushawart-Teertha’ Chowk, Sadhus were welcomed by blowing conch and performing ‘aukshan’. All ‘Sadhus’ were reading the welcome boards displayed by Sanatan Sanstha and HJS; they were happy to be received in such a traditional manner and were bestowing blessings on Sanatan’s seekers and activists of HJS and some also showered flowers on them. Sanatan’s female seekers did ‘aukshan’ of Shri Mahant Narendragiriji Maharaj, the President of ‘Akhil Bharatiya Akhada Parishad’. People were discussing the welcome offered by Sanatan and HJS to Sadhus and many of them were curious to know more about activities undertaken by both these organizations. They praised the traditional welcome extended to them.
