Petition presented to Thane District Magistrate after ‘Naam-Dindi’ (Peaceful Rally with chanting the Name of God)

Thane: In view of the proposed ban on Sanatan Sanstha by the Maharashtra Government, seekers of Sanatan Sanstha peacefully protested in a unique manner by taking to the roads in a rally with chanting the Name of God (known as Naam-Dindi).  This unique rally ended by distinguished seekers of Sanatan Sanstha presenting an Appeal and Petition to the Thane District Magistrate to lift off the proposed ban on Sanatan Sanstha.

Hundreds of Hindus proudly signed on the Appeal Letter in protest to the ban on Sanatan Sanstha.  This Appeal letter and the Petition were later presented to the Thane District Magistrate Shri Abhasaheb Jarhad by the prominent and distinguished seekers of Sanatan Sanstha.

While presenting the Petition and Appeal Letter to the District Magistrate of Thane, the distinguished seekers of Sanatan Sanstha reiterated the efforts that Thane branch of Sanatan Sanstha is taking in Thane, such as: Satsangs (Spiritual Gatherings) for Adults, Bal-Satsangs (Special classes for children propagating Moral and Hindu religious education), Voluntary Social Work and Special Classes propagating Defense of the Nation etc.  The District Magistrate was impressed with the activities of Sanatan Sanstha and conveyed his best wishes to Sanatan by saying: “The activities of Sanatan Sanstha are excellent, and I hope it gets better and better”.

The seekers of Sanatan Sanstha appealed to the District Magistrate saying “But it is indeed a pity that, in spite of all the good work we do, the Maharashtra Government is thinking of putting a ban on our organization.  You are a renowned District Magistrate, we request you to kindly support us and put forth our feelings to the Government through this Appeal and Petition”.  The District Magistrate assured the distinguished seekers of Sanatan Sanstha by saying: “I will certainly forward your Appeal and Petition to the Government and in future too I will help you as much as I can.”

Hindus must protest more strongly. Let all Hindus save money to be able to live a full week (or more) with it and then when needed, all Hindus in public service (and private service) of a certain area (if needed nationwide) not go to work a full week! Just report sick or something else. Then the authorities will realise the collective strenght of the Hindus and their necessity!

Once this is achieved, it will be a good stick to show in future!
