Petition submitted to municipal councilors against unscientific immersion of Ganesh idols by erecting water tanks and donation of idols

Satara : Satara Municipality and few organizations which are anti-Hindu, jointly undertake drive for immersion of Ganesh idols in water tanks although it is against ‘Dharmashastra’ so also is donation of Ganesh idols. Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) submitted petition to 8 municipal councilors wherein it is stated that Municipality administration purposely overlooks serious harm caused to environment throughout the year despite constant advice given by Pollution Control Board and along with fake environmentalists raise objection to immersion of idols in natural water bodies taking place only once in a year during Ganesh festival while alleging that immersion causes  water pollution. The environmentalists should therefore, follow the advice given by Pollution Control Board and should not undertake wrong drives like immersion of idols in water tanks and donation of idols.
