Shri. Pramod Mutalik files petition in SC against Goa Government

Goa Govt.’s decision on banning Shri. Mutalik’s entry

New Delhi : BJP Government of Goa has imposed ban on Shri. Pramod Mutalik, the Founder President of Sriram Sena from entering Goa.

A petition challenging decision given by Goa Bench of Mumbai High Court has been filed by advocate Shri. Vishnu Shankar Jain on behalf of Shri. Mutalik in Supreme Court.

The District Collector of North Goa had issued an order on 19th August 2014 prohibiting Shri. Pramod Mutalik and his colleagues, from entering Goa. The District Collector kept on extending the period of ban but Shri. Mutalik was not allowed to present his side.

Shri. Mutalik therefore, filed a petition in Mumbai High Court to get justice but the Court refused to interfere in the internal matter of State Administration. The High Court’s order has now been challenged by Shri. Mutalik in the Supreme Court.
