Chennai : Hindu Janajagruti Samiti participated in the Rakshabandhan event of RSS held on 23rd August 2015 at Smt. Suchitra tai’s Home in LIC colony Mugappair, Chennai.
HJS was given a slot to give a speech about personality development to the children who had gathered there. Shri. Ganesh Shetti of HJS spoke about how to develop our personality through inculcating Virtues. He explained this through a short moral story from the life of Swami Vivekanand. He then explained them how the mind functions and how paap and punyas are being accumulated and how by developing virtues one can lead a blissful life.
The children responded and interacted during the guidance. Along with the children even their parents felt that it was important to increase virtues in oneself. Parents promised to see that their children were taking efforts in this direction.
Around 15 children and parents participated.
