Hindus! Protest against defamation of Goddess Laxmi through various Laxmi Brand products
Namaskar Hindus,Giriraj Enterprises has manufactured various product using Goddess Laxmi image and Her name, i.e. Laxmi brand. The range of products from Laxmi brand are growing. Few month before HJS had created awareness about this in America through the email campaign. We appeal all Hindus to write protest letter to manufacturer to stop using Goddess name and image for his products.

1. Introduction
As per the science of spirituality “wherever is the Name or a Symbol or a picture of Deity, the five elements of sound, touch, form, taste, smell, and energy - associated with it also co-exist.” It simply means the energy of God in the temple and in the picture of a deity printed on a package is same. So the picture of Laxmi Mata on the packages of Laxmi Brand also carries the divine energy and should be revered by us!

2. What is Denigration?
In a broad sense, denigration means displaying something in an undesirable form/shape, different from its original form/shape. We can also say that any act or object that obstructs emanation of subtle sattvik vibrations of the Divine can also be considered denigration.3. How denigration happens if one uses Laxmi Brand?
Usually and habitually we throw a package into the trash when the contents are used. Same thing happens with the packages of Laxmi brand – people trash it after use! So, trashing the package is denigrating (dis-respecting) Laxmi Mata and the one throwing it becomes a sinner. How it is a sin, let’s see from the viewpoint of science of spirituality -4. Since the Goddess Laxmi on the package and the Goddess Laxmi in your temple room are same, if you mishandle the package you commit sin. Imagine yourself throwing the image of Deity in your temple room in the trash! It is simply un-imaginable! Then how come the sin is committed by throwing Laxmi brand package in the trash? Is the God different if His image is printed somewhere else?Now you must be thinking that you were buying the product because it carries Laxmi Mata on it and you should choose that one because you are a devout Hindu!
It is appreciable if your intention is like that behind purchasing such products but on the other hand it is supporting the manufacturer in producing the product and we are unknowingly sharing the sin of denigrating our revered Deities.
5. Denigration in handling the products during storage / transportation etc!
You must have seen how the flour bags, rice bags etc. are kept in grocery stores. They are kept on the floors for storage purposes. While in transportation they also come under feet of the workers!What do you do if there is a picture of your parents or children on the floor? You will rush to pick it up before someone can step on it.
6. Negative impact of denigration at spiritual level
At a spiritual level, as per the science of Spirituality when we do good deeds, we earn merits and when we do bad deeds we incur demerits. That is, how we live our lives has consequences that we have to face in this life or the afterlife. To understand the results of denigrating Deities or not doing anything to stop the denigration, let's take an example of the possible demerits on a scale from 1 to 100 that a person would accrue if he were to murder an average person, a seeker and a Saint. The demerits accrued if an average person is murdered is equal to 30 units, if a seeker is murdered equal to 60 units, and if a Saint is murdered is equal to 100 units. The demerit earned when a person murders a Saint is the maximum possible. This is because a Saint affects society at large positively, at a spiritual level. So from this we can get an idea how it affects us at spiritual level when we are committing a sin at personal level or we are part of a social sin!!7. Appeal to the Manufacturer
Either you change the name and design of your product or we will boycott it!Appeal to the consumer
