Do not promote wrong concepts like immersion of Ganesh idols in ‘artificial water-tanks’ and ‘donation of Ganesh idols’ !

HJS demand through representation !

Kolhapur (Maharashtra) : No action is taken against pollution caused due to sewage water and solid waste throughout the year, but drives are conducted to promote wrong concepts like immersion of Ganesh idols in artificial water tanks and donation of Ganesh idols to prevent the so-called pollution caused during Ganesh festival, which is comes only once in the whole year. A representation that stated to stop such drives, promoting artificial tanks and idol donation was submitted by Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) on 21st August to city engineer Shri. Netradeep Sarnobat of Municipal Corporation.

Shri. Shivanand Swami, Shri. Babasaheb Bhopale, Shri. Madhukar Nazare, Shri. Jayawant Prabhu of HJS, Shri. Shivajirao Sase, Shri. Nandkumar Sutar of Hindu Ekata Andolan’ and Shri. Sambhaji Salunkhe, District-Chief of Bajarang Dal were present on the occasion.

Shri. Sarnobat said that he would discuss the matter with his seniors before taking decision.
