Display of weapons was quite striking !

In olden days, ‘akhadas’ had fought with Mughal invaders with the use of their weapons; therefore, display of use of weapons was held by ‘akhadas’. These demonstrations were quite striking. The weapons included ‘Dand-patta’, swords and ‘lathi-kathi’ etc.
