HJS joins action committee for prevention of abuse of national flags

Bhiwandi, Thane – Tehsildar Sou. V. S. Lambhate of Bhiwandi Taluka had called a meeting of members of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS), Lions Club and another organization for setting up an action committee regarding prevention of abuse of National Flags. Tehsildar granted permission to show the VCD prepared by HJS on maintaining honour of national flags on local cable channels. Sou. Lambhate said that all shopkeepers have been issued notice under clause 149 by police; 261 secondary and higher secondary schools (municipality and private) have been sent memorandum by education officers. Police have put up circulars outside schools and they would patrol the areas.
