Mumbai High Court orders Central Govt. and Airtel to present their stand

Issue of blocking of Hindujagruti.org website by various ISPs

Mumbai : Airtel had stopped showing website of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti viz. ‘www.hindujagruti.org’. HJS lodged several complaints with the Central Government and Airtel company; but it did not receive proper response; therefore, finally, HJS filed a petition in Mumbai High Court. It came up for hearing on 3rd August and Justice Abhay Oak and Justice Revati Mohite-Dere ordered the Central Government and Airtel Company to present their stand.

More than 25000 people visit Website of HJS, www.Hindujagruti.org.  Many people visit it through their cell phones; but from the last week of June 2015, people using Airtel, BSNL, You broad band, MTS, Tikona as service providers, were not able to access this website. Advocate Virendra Ichalkaranjikar presented the side of HJS in Court. The next hearing is on 2nd September.
