Nasik : Sanatan Bharatiya Sanskruti Sanstha and HJS take out huge procession for ‘Gurupournima’

|| गुरुकृपा हि केवलं शिष्यपरममंङ्गलम् ||

(Meaning : Only by the grace of the Guru can the disciple attain his ultimate benefaction, that is spiritual progress.)

Nasik (Maharashtra) : The day, on which a disciple expresses his gratitude, totally surrendering at the holy feet of his Guru for showing the path of liberation, is ‘Gurupournima’.

Sanatan Bharatiya Sanskruti Sanstha and Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) have jointly organized ‘Gurupournima’ function at Shrikrushna Madhav Mangal Karyalaya in Panchavati on 31st July 2015.

A huge procession was taken out on 25th July at 4.30 p.m. for extending invitation for the ‘Gurupournima’ function.

The procession was started with a prayer to Bhagavan Srikrushna, from the proposed venue of the function and concluding at the same place. The seekers of Sanatan and activists of HJS were holding boards that had messages for people like ‘Hindus should unite for Dharma-rakshan’, ‘Ishwari Rajya, ideal Rajya’, ‘All Hindus need to unite’ etc.

An appeal was made to people, on loudspeakers, to attend the function of Gurupournima. Invitation cards for Gurupournima function were also distributed. The ‘Dharma-rath’ leading the procession attracted lot of attention of people.
