Fake claim of Shivaji Maharaj’s life saved by a Christian trader named John

Hindus should not just sit back quietly on reading this news; but should get ready to stage agitation for opposing, with unity and self-restraint, pro-Christian Government of Telangana ! Force the Government to arrest and take stringent action against those, spreading false history about Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj !

False history being taught thro’ 6th standard English text book in Telangana !

Bhagyanagar : A text book on English subject was recently published by Education Department of Telangana titled ‘Our world thro’ Casket’. In this book, there is a lesson titled ‘The Lost Casket’; through which false history about Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj is being spread by glorifying Christians. In this lesson, the so-called hero named John has been compared with Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj; claiming that ‘John was as brave as Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj’. This lesson has generated a wave of anger amongst all History-lovers and patrons of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj and they have demanded that the lesson should be immediately withdrawn from the book and criminal cases should be filed against the writer and other concerned persons involved in spreading false history.

The following observations are made in this context….

1.The matter published under the lesson tilted ‘The Lost Casket’ has not so far been published in any book published by senior, scholar historians and what is published in this book is all imaginary and fabricated.

2. This lesson glorifies Christians and is also a gross insult of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj.

3. Attempts have been made to through questions asked on this lesson, to show that John was greater than Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. The fact is Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj had killed two attackers to save John but questions have been asked on this lesson in such a way, to deliberately mislead students and impress upon them that John was more valiant than Maharaj.

4. It can be observed from the layout of Fort Raigad that no outsider could go to Raigad; but how did John reach there ?

5. In this lesson, it is written that Shivaji Maharaj who looted ornaments from Surat, said that people had first right to that wealth; later giving it to John; thus it is portrayed that Shivaji Maharaj was a robber and was using people’s wealth for own benefit; which is totally incorrect.

Wrong history about Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj will not be tolerated ! – Shri. Ramesh Shinde, national Spokesperson, HJS

Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj defeated all 5 Mughal kings; besides Afzal Khan and Shahiste Khan. Instead of taking incidents of valour from his life-history, Telangana Government has included fabricated incident glorifying Christians, in 6th standard text book. It is desecration of Maharaj and we will not tolerate it. It is a ploy of the Government to kowtow to Christians through this medium. MIM’s Owaisi opposed to statue of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj in Maharashtra and in Owaisi’s State, such false history is being spread against Maharaj; exhibiting hatred towards Maharaj. The Government should immediately withdraw this text book; else intense agitation will be staged.
