Congratulations to Shri. Pehalaj Nihalani for extending support to protection of Dharma and culture !

Mumbai : It is wrong to insult Deities, seats of worship or Indian culture, through films. I am committed to protection of Dharma and culture; therefore, such mistakes will be prevented in future, promised Shri. Pehalaj Nihalani, the President of Film Censor Board to delegation of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) comprising of Shri. Shivaji Vatkar, devout advocate Shruti Desai, Shri. Prashant Patel, Secretary of Hindu Legal Cell and Shri. Vinod Singh. Shri. Satish Kalyankar, a member of Censor Board had arranged the meeting. Shri. Vatkar said that Hindi films have become a medium to constantly attack Hindus’ seats of worship. Protest letters have been sent against 34 films so far; but the Central Film Censor Board has not given much response to any of them.

Shri. Vatkar presented a coloured brochure giving information on various activities of HJS, book on Dharma-shikshan boards of Sanatan and its few ‘sattvika’ products. Activities of HJS and Sanatan were also explained to Shri. Nihalani. Shri. Vatkar assured him that pro-Hindu organizations would always be with him in matters related to protection of Dharma and culture. Advocate Shruti Desai made Shri. Nihalani aware of increasing obscenity in films. Shri. Nihalani was told about the drives undertaken against film ‘PK’ and on its website, for protection of Dharma by Shri. Patel and Shri. Singh.
