Hussain’s paintings removed from Ishanya Art Gallery

Pune: On learning about anti-Hindu and controversial painter M F Hussain’s paintings on display in an exhibition held at ‘Ishanya Art Gallery’ Yerawda, members of Hindu Janajgruti Samiti (HJS) along with members of Maharashtra Nava-nirman Sena, Matoshree Pratishthan and other Hindu Organizations made the organizers withdraw the same paintings. An organization called ‘Remari India’, organized an exhibition from 22nd May to 30th May. More than 1250 complaints have been lodged against Hussain all over the country for deliberate denigration of Hindu deities through his controversial paintings; besides, 8 cases are going on in Court of Law. The organizers have rubbed salt on the wounds of Hindus by including his paintings even when matter is sub-judice. Members of HJS along with members of other Hindu Organizations met the organizers and enlightened them, in lawful manner, on the issue. The organizers too, immediately took cognizance of the advice and removed Hussain’s paintings as also rendered an apology letter.
25 devout Hindus including Shri. Ramesh Jadhav, vice-president of MNS for Vadgaon, Shri. Manish Jadhav of Matoshree Pratishthan, Shri. Amar Wabale of Samasta Hindu Aghadi and S/Shri. Sunil Ghanavat, Sarang Akolkar, Hemant Shinde, Shri. Vilas Gaikwad of Dharma-shakti Sena, Shri. Ramesh Gaikwad of Devadasi Sect were present on the occasion. Shri. Raju Endal, a municipal councilor of MNS extended special assistance.
