Vardha (Maharashtra): Today the Hindu dharma is ominously surrounded by various types of invasions. Incidents of denigration of Hindu Deities, conversions of Hindus, attacks of Muslims on the processions on the holy festivals of Hindus etc. are increasing with every passing day. The government is criminally passive and inactive about protection of the Hindus.  Maharashtra is gradually turning into a virtual Kashmir. Under such gloomy circumstances, Hindu Janjagruti Samiti has taken up the task of unifications of Hindus on national level and has sounded the bugle of dharma resurrection through the medium of Dharmajagruti Sabhas.  The overwhelming response its more than 30 Sabhas received in the three states of Maharashtra, Goa and Karnataka is the acknowledgement of its grand success. In the next Sabha that was held on the auspicious day of Akshayya Trutiya, 7th May 2008, on the Circus grounds at Vardha (Maharashtra), the 1800-strong Hindu audience vowed with one voice to establish Dharma Rajya.

Present on the dais to witness the historic event were Bhagavatacharya H.B.P. Ramrao Mahure Maharaj; Shri. Suresh Ganapatrao Waghmare, MP of BJP from Vardha; Shri. Nandkumar Jadhav, prasar-sevak of Sanatan Sanstha; Shri. Vinay Panvalkar, chief of Dharmashakti Sena and Shri. Ramesh Shinde, spokesperson for western Bharat of HJS.  The Sabha commenced in a pious atmosphere with chanting of Vedic mantras by Shri. Mahendra Vinayak Pachakhede, priest of Swarayag Ved Pathashala from Vardha and his disciples. In the environment filled with divine consciousness, the holy lamp was lighted by the auspicious hands of Bhagavatacharya H.B.P. Ramrao Mahure Maharaj. Later on those present on the dais were felicitated.

We have to protect the Hindus by rising above politics! – Suresh Waghmare

Today there is politics in every field. None can avoid politics. Terrorism is to be wiped out in the same manner as Chhatrapati Shivaji had removed the intestines from the stomach of Afzal Khan. If the Hindus continue to remain complacent and dead-passive, the day is not far off when the prime minister of the country will be decided – not by the Hindus, but by the Muslims and the Christians whose population is increasing day by day. If the Hindus do not wake up to the situation, our future is dark. More than Pakistan, we have a great threat from Bangladesh and China and even greater from our internal enemies. Hence we have to protect the Hindus by rising above politics.  It is the call of the time to unify the Hindus. 

Nation will be protected only if the dharma is protected! – Vinay Panvalkar

Dharma is the soul of the nation. Dharmashakti Sena attaches utmost importance to the protection of dharma. For protection of dharma, observance of religious behaviour is very necessary. If we understand the principles of dharma and then followed them in our day-today life, then only God will help us. Throughout the world it is Bharat that is most affected by terrorism. The weak stand taken by the government in this regard has made the life of Hindus miserable. Dharmashakti Sena teaches everyone to fight against injustice. The Sena not only lays stress on physical training but also imparts training to enhance self-confidence and soul-energy.  Every Hindu ought to take the benefit of the training. 

Rituals are strong points of Hindu dharma! – Nandkumar Jadhav

The Hindus lack pride for religion. They possess the myopic view that ‘Why should I bother if the dharma is ruined’. While spreading the message of dharma, we should also behave religiously. Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj gained the blessings of Goddess Bhavani Devi, fought against the Mughals, giving a loud war cry ‘Har Har Mahadev’ and emerged victorious. Today we use the word ‘Karmakanda’ i.e. rituals in a derogatory manner. The proponents of other religions cleverly understood that the rituals are the strong points of Hindu dharma and tried to create an atmosphere of distrust about them. It is therefore imperative that the Hindus should be given religious education. The present condition of the Hindus will undergo a change if they read ‘Dainik Sanatan Prabhat’ to follow the technique of spiritual practice properly. 

On the occasion of Akshayya Trutiya, girdle your loins to protect the nation and dharma! – Ramesh Shinde

It is the desire of Hindu mind that the entire world should be happy; but some of the anti-Hindu persons are bent on dubbing us as Kafirs and trying to finish us. It is therefore necessary for the Hindus to remain alert. Today we need the patriots like Sukhprit Kaur. This Sabha is not meant for those who during the Kandahar plane hijacking incident demanded out of grief that the terrorists be released against the release of their relatives. On this auspicious day of Akshayya Trutiya, let us not give any excuses and let us girdle our loins for the protection of the nation and dharma. It is often said that the word ‘secular’ was there in our constitution; but when the constitution was prepared, there was no such word in it. It was inserted later on by Indira Gandhi by passing the 42nd amendment to the constitution.

Hindutva is the only truth! – H.B.P. Mahure Maharaj 

It is only the spiritual persons in this country who can bring divine kingdom on the earth. Neither the country, nor the color nor the political parties are true; Hindutva is the only truth. We have no malice towards any one; but as Saint Tukaram has rightly said, those who will launch invasion on our dharma will get a good strike of a baton on their head.  

Hindus misled by an orphan old man!

 It was noticed by the Dharmaveers of Dharmashakti Sena who were posted at the venue of the Sabha for protection that an old man was distributing some pamphlets. When they enquired into the matter, it was revealed that the man was distributing pamphlets of Anddhashraddha Nirmoon Samiti (ANS) that gave misleading information about the anti-blind faith laws being propagated by the ANS. It was learnt that the old man was from an orphanage. He was not aware of the contents of the pamphlets. The pamphlets were forfeited by the Dharmaveers. (Needless to say, who is behind this incident. To use persons from orphanages for the sake of propagating one’s anti-social views is the height of one’s uncivilized culture! – Editor)

Features of the Sabha

• Pujya Sayaji Maharaj, founder of Sayaji Sevashram of Korba, Chattisgarh graced the occasion with His holy presence. Shri. Anup Chaudhari of the Samiti paid homage to Him.
• The board of Dharmashakti Sena which imparts training to Hindus not only on physical and psychological levels but also on spiritual level for protection of the dharma was inaugurated by Bhagavatacharya H.B.P. Mahure Maharaj.
• Shri. Shashikant Padhye, representative of ‘Dainik Sanatan Prabhat’ was felicitated by H.B.P. Mahure Maharaj.
• Those who were felicitated in the Sabha included Shri. Mahendra Pachakhede, priest of Ved Pathashala; H.B.P. Vasudev Tapare Maharaj of Samasta Varkari Phadakri Dindi Samaj Sanghatana from Nagpur; H.B.P. Satish Maharaj Deshmukh, life-missionary of Akhil Bharatiya Gurudev Seva Mandal from Vardha; Shri. Santosh Singh Thakur, mayor, Rashtravadi party and Shri. Ashok Shinde, deputy leader, Shiv Sena.

• The people thronged at the venue of the Sabha on hearing the slogan ‘Jai Bhavani | Jai Shivaji’.
• Some persons were seen video-shooting the proceedings of the Sabha on their own.
• Three policemen in civil dress were present at the venue.
• The police also video-shot the Sabha.
• When ‘Vande Mataram’ was sung, the policemen did not stand.
• The children-seekers from the children’s stall of Sanatan Sanstha sang a Marathi ballad, “Utha Hindunno, Jagrut Vhaa rey!”

Reactions

1. H.B.P. Satish Maharaj Deshmukh: Today’s Dharma Sabha has certainly created awareness of religion among those Hindus who were living for themselves only and the sense of duty towards the religion in which they were born was ignited in their heart. 
2. Shri. Mohan Agrawal, president, Sant Gajanan Maharaj Mandir: A number of atrocities are being committed on the Hindus, which need to be checked. It is therefore necessary to awaken the Hindus for self-defence and protection of the nation. The task of the Samiti and Dainik Sanatan Prabhat in this regard is indeed significant.
