Saints and Seers to agitate at Jantar Mantar on 12th April against cow slaughter

It is very shameful for BJP that Saints and seers have to take to streets against cow-slaughter !

New Delhi : Jain Muni Maitri Prabhasagar Maharaj has been on hunger strike for many days for his demand of immediate ban on export of beef and for imposition of ban on cow-slaughter throughout the country.

The chief leaders of several organizations working for protection of cows and Saints – seers have proposed to stage demonstrations on 12th April at Jantar-Mantar in his support and to force the Government to take expeditious action. They have also made an appeal to ‘Gou-premis (patrons of cows)’ to participate in the demonstrations in large number.

Rashtriya Gou-samanvaya Samiti’s Guide Geeta Manishi Dnyananand Maharaj, its convener Swami Vishuddhananda, Hindu Dharmacharya Sabha’s General Secretary Swami Pramatmananda, Mahant Ravindrananda Saraswati, ‘Sarvadeshiya Arya Pratinidhi Sabha’s regional Minister Shriramkumar Arya besides Mahant and Mandaleshwar of many ‘Aakhaadaas’ will be participating in the demonstrations as they feel that it is the duty of every Indian to protect cows and Indian Government should attend to this matter as early as possible. The demonstrations will be started from 10.00 a.m. on 12th April.
