HJS participates in the Deeksha camp of Vivekananda Vidyalaya, Chennai

On 3.4.15, Friday,  G.K Shetty Vivekanda Vidyalaya Junior College arranged a two day Deeksha camp for 130 girl students of 10th standard. HJS was invited to guide them during the camp. Shri. Kashinath Shetty and Sou. Suganthi Jaikumar of HJS participated. Sou. Suganthi, talked about the spiritual science behind various Dieties in Hindu dharma, importance of chanting the name of one’s Kuladevata and Datta. The students were also shown a presentation on the denigration of Hindu Deities and Acharadharma by Shri. Kashinath Shetty.

Highlights 

  • The students were very eager to know the science behind the rituals and Achardharma. 
  • When students were explained why it is not advisable to clap during functions, the teachers and the students said that they will follow it to express gratitude to HJS’ guidance
  • The school felicitated the HJS volunteers.
