Shirdi (Maharashtra) : BJP Government in Maharashtra has ordered Sai Sansthan at Shirdi to give it Rs. 1129 Crore from its treasury immediately. Presently the treasury of the Sai Sansthan has Rs.1200 crore in cash including total assets of more than Rs. 1500 crore in the form of real estate. If the amount as per the demand made by the Government were to be given, the Sansthan might face financial crunch.

Devotees have expressed that no money should be given to the Government. (All Hindus expect that the Government should use the funds in an ideal manner, as the money is donated by the devotees with so much of faith and trust ! – Editor, Dainik Sanatan Prabhat)

Shri. Sanjay Kale, an RTI activist said that he would be filing a petition in the High Court soon opposing any diversion of funds to the Government. (While filing the petition, the Government should also be asked to give an account of the funds taken by it so far so that the facts would be known to the public. – Editor, Dainik Sanatan Prabhat)

Financial help given to the Government by the Sansthan so far is given ahead –

A. For canals of Nilvande Dam          : Rs. 500 crore,
