Conversion of religions leads to conversion of loyalty to nation : Shri. Sandip Shinde

Why should it be said that Teresa’s activities were not meant for conversion ? 

Mumbai : Mother Teresa had said that she was a nun of Jesus. Conversion is the soul of Christian missionaries and if it is taken out, Christian missionaries would become lifeless. In such case, nobody has a right to say that the activities of Mother Teresa for humanity were secular or why should it be said that her activities were not meant for conversion ?

Earlier, Christians were in minority in Mizoram and now there are more than 90% Christians and they are asking for VISA to visit Mizoram. They treat it to be a different country. It shows that even if conversion of religion is carried out in the name of service to humanity, it leads to change in loyalty to nation.

The above frank opinion was expressed by Shri. Sandip Shinde, the spokesperson of Sanatan Sanstha on ‘SAAM’ TV channel during a discussion program called ‘Awaz Maharashtracha’ held on 24th February. The discussion session was held on the topic of ‘Whether the Sar-sanghchalak had purposely made statement about Mother Teresa ?’ In these discussions, the other participants were Fr. Michael J, Anees Chishti, Prof. Jaidev Dole, Shri. Ashutosh Adoni of RSS and Harish Rogye, Congress spokesperson. Shri. Sanjay Awate compeered the program.

Those, who are like Bibheeshana, will remain in Hindu Rashtra ! – Shri. Sandip Shinde

1. Mother Teresa had said that ‘We have not come here for work but we have come here for Jesus. We are religious. We are neither social workers, nor doctors nor teachers ! We are nuns of Jesus.’

2. There are many Christian and Islamic countries in the world. So, what is wrong if Bharat is called as Hindu Rashtra as Hindus are in majority in this country?

3. We have never said that Christians and Muslims should leave from Hindu Rashtra.

4. Rama did not set whole Lanka on fire when he slew Ravana. He handed over reins of Lanka to Bibheeshana. Those, who are like Bibheeshana, will remain in Rama-rajya (Hindu Rashtra) and those who are like Ravana will go. Everyone has to decide for self where he wants to go.

5. There will be no place for caste-system in Hindu Rashtra. Bhagavan Srikrushna has made divisions based on qualities and actions which is ‘Varna-vyavastha’ and ‘Varna-vyavastha’ is a way of life.

Discussion should be held on Teresa’s conversions and not on statement of RSS chief ! – Ashutosh Aadoni

1. I first register protest and express regret about the discussions held on a statement made by Sar-sanghachalak as if he is a political personality; when 54000 social activities are undertaken with his inspiration.

2. The present discussions are based on the half statement made by Sar-sanghachalak. He had stated while explaining the concept of service that the value of service is reduced when it is done with the intention of conversion. Service should be done without any expectations. This statement does not insult Mother Teresa.

3. If discussions are to be held, they should be held on conversions by Teresa and conversions done under the guise of service.

4. Mallikarjun Kharge, Congress leader in Opposition, when he was Home Minister in April 1999, had associated many types of immoral activities to service rendered by churches. If conversions are taking place in the name of service, naturally, it can lead to commotion.

5. After Swami Vivekananda, Mohandas Gandhi had opposed activities of Christian missionaries.

Fanatic Chisti tries to portray Islam teaching jihad as religion offering service to people !

Says – Islam teaches offering service only with the intention of serving !

Anees Chishti said, “Prophet Mohammad served people before he attained the status of a Prophet; therefore, people adopted his Sect. It has been clearly mentioned in Islam that service should be rendered only with the intention of serving, without any expectation and then, if people feel like adopting your Sect, they will convert. (Can the Sect that teaches to eliminate non-Islamic people, be considered as offering service to mankind ? Had history of Islam been as claimed by Chishti, why in gulf countries, there is always war-like situation ? Islam has always converted people on the strength of sword and there are ample examples of this; therefore, one cannot believe in what Chisti claims. – Editor, Dainik Sanatan Prabhat)
