Representation submitted to Shiv Sena MLA demanding implementation of Act banning cow-slaughter

Jalgaon (Maharashtra) : In this land of ‘Gou-pujaks (cow-worshippers)’, every year around 2.40 crores of cows / cattle are slaughtered in 33,600 slaughter-houses. Only 1 crore cows are now left in this country which had 90 crores cows/ cattle in the year 1947; whereas out of 128 species of cows, only 18 species are surviving.

In this background, Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) submitted a representation to Shri. Kishore appa Patil, Shiv Sena – MLA elected from Pachora constituency, in the presence of H. H. Nandkumar Jadhav of Sanatan Sanstha, Shri. Sunil Ghanavat and Shri. Dattatreya Waghulde of HJS.

Representation submitted regarding Malegaon bomb blast issue

Jalgaon : Maharashtra anti-terrorist squad had illegally taken into custody, Dilip Patidar from Indore, Madhya Pradesh in the year 2008 in connection with Malegaon bomb blast case. The Court handed over investigations in this case to Central Crime Investigation Department.

It was found that the officer of the squad was guilty; but Maharashtra Government which has been shielding such corrupt police officers, is still not granting permission to conduct inquiry into this matter. A representation was, therefore, submitted to MLA Shri. Gulabrao Patil, demanding inquiry into this case.
