12,000 Devout Hindus Present for Dharmajagruti Sabha |
Barshi (Maharashtra): 12,000 devout Hindus attending the 'Dharma-jagruti Sabha' agreed that condition of Hindu Dharma is very bad due to denigration of Hindu deities, anti-Hindu laws, attacks on processions taken out by Hindus; killings of Hindus in Kashmir; and they made a resolve that henceforth, no devout Hindu would tolerate such things. In the meeting held by Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) on the grounds of Sree Bhagavant Mandir, the dignitaries invited for the meeting, strongly attacked activities undertaken against Hindus. Members of the audience motivated by the atmosphere and speeches by the guests raised slogans hailing Hindu Dharma.
Objectionable pamphlets distributed against 'Dharma-sabha': 3 anti-Hindus arrestedBarshi: Few anti-Hindu organizations and Andha-sharddha Nirmulan Samiti (ANS) distributed pamphlets, which contained anti-Hindu matter, to create prejudice among people and prevent them from attending 'Hindu Dharmajagruti Sabha'. Hindu Organizations therefore, submitted a representation protesting the incident and lodged a complaint with the police to file a criminal offence case against the miscreants publishing such pamphlets. There was outrage among devout Hindus all over the district including Barshi. Members of anti-Hindu Organizations were distributing handbills creating confusion against the 'Dharmajagruti Sabha' outside the venue. Police arrested 3 such members when members of HJS complained to the police. Few anti-Hindu organizations, included names of certain organizations without their permission, in the handbill 'Appeal, read and think ……….'. Few anti-Hindus also threatened that they would collect 5000 members of their organizations and create a fracas in the meeting. HJS protested against them and immediately informed other Hindu Organizations about the threat. Chiefs of Chhava and Bajarang Dal assured HJS that they were with HJS right from the beginning and their names were included in the handbill without their permission. Even chief members of other organizations were contacted through the police and called to the police station. |

Speeches of Dignitaries
Hindus will be strong if they behave righteously - Shri. Vinay Panwalkar, Sanatan Sanstha
'Vyashti sadhana' means undertaking spiritual practice at personal level. When we try to understand the science behind our customs and rituals, it becomes our spiritual practice. Things done for protection of Nation and Dharma are part of our 'samashti' sadhana. The divine energy enables us to improve our mental strength and increase the chances of success in whatever we undertake. Only 'Dharma-palan' can make Hindus powerful.Need of the hour is to make people behave righteously – Ramesh Shinde, HJS
Hindu Dharma is on the path of extinction owing to denigration of deities, anti-Hindu laws, assaults by followers of other religions and growing influence of western culture. Owing to lack of 'Dharma-shikshan' and 'Dharmacharan', Hindus are not even aware that they should do something against such assaults on Dharma. As a result, Hindus are becoming minority in this country which is supposed to have Hindu in majority. Every Hindu must therefore, conduct himself righteously to change this position and for reformation of Dharma. People should be trained to face the troubles and overcome them. It has, therefore, become the need of the hour to make every Hindu behave righteously.Responses of saints attending the 'sabha'
- Pujya Appa Baba Maharaj, Ruibhar – The program under the mission of Hindu 'Dharma-jagruti' will be an eye opener for the Government. The rulers have to take a note of this. Anti-Hindus would have to think 100 times before oppressing Hindus. Now Hindus are coming together and Dharmacharyas have taken the responsibility of keeping them united. It is certain that it will be impossible to divide Hindus and to accomplish the ploy of destroying Hindus.
- Pujya Anantraj Paturkar Maharaj, Mahanubhava Panth – Every such meeting under the drive of Hindu Dharmajagruti, awareness is created among Hindus which is very important. Such programs should be held even in rural areas so that the mission reaches every downtrodden. The task undertaken by HJS is praiseworthy and exemplary. I shall fight for Hindu Dharma till my last breath.
