• Issue of Government’s indifference in taking up work related to ‘Simhastha Parva’

• It is very shameful for the Government that Sadhu-Mahants are giving such warning !

How can such things bring ‘good days’? It is expected that BJP-Shiv Sena coalition Government will take early steps to fulfill Sadhu-Mahants’ demands ! – Editor, Dainik Sanatan Prabhat

Tryambakeshwar, Nashik (Maharashtra) : The delay by the Government in carrying out work required to be undertaken for holding ‘Simhastha Parva’ has been very disturbing for Sadhu-Mahants. In a meeting to review planning and completion of work related to ‘Simhastha Parva’ held between Sadhu-Mahants and assistant ‘Mela’ officer Mahesh Patil and other officers, Sadhu-Mahants expressed their displeasure over delay.

Swami Sagarananda Saraswati, the President of ‘Akhaadaa Parishada’, ‘Mahamantri’-Shri. Mahant Harigiri Maharaj, Shri. Mahant Narendragiri Maharaj of Niranjani Aakhaadaa, Premagiri Maharaj, Vice President of ‘Juna Aakhaadaa’ were present on the occasion. (After how many such warnings will the State Government of Maharashtra and Tryambakeshwar Municipality realize the importance of ‘Simhastha Parva’ ? – Editor, Dainik Sanatan Prabhat)

All of them felt that the Maharashtra Government should make a note that budget for ‘Kumbh-Mela’ going to be held at Allahabad after 4 years, is already prepared. Attention was drawn to the point that ‘Simhastha’ should be referred to as ‘Tryambakeshvar- Nashik Janapath Kumbh-Mela’. Swami Sagaranand Saraswati, the President of ‘Aakhaadaa Parishada’ said that Maharashtra Government is lucky to have ‘Simhastha Parva’ in the State but the State seems to have forgotten its significance.
