Akola (Maharashtra) : ‘Hindus need to give up narrow-mindedness; work with expansive viewpoint and create a power of Hindu unification. Spirituality is the base of Hindu life and all Hindus should be proud of it’, was the guidance given by Shri. Sudhakar rao Jakate, an office bearer of ‘Grahak Panchayat’ and Director of Vivekananda Pratishthan, during Hindu Convention held here on behalf of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS). He was the Chief speaker of the program that was started with blowing of conch and was inaugurated with lighting of lamp by the dignitaries present on the occasion.

Shri. Shrikant Pisolkar, the Coordinator of HJS gave introductory speech and explained the need for establishment of Hindu Rashtra. H.B.P. Shri. Tulashidas Maharaj Masane said that Hindu Rashtra can be established by abiding by Dharma. We do not want just a crowd of Hindutva-vadis but need unification of such Hindutva-vadis who have knowledge of and love and respect for Hindu Dharma.

During the second session of the one-day Convention, Shri. Sanjay Thakur, Director of ‘Janaki Seeds’, Shri. Mayur Mishra of Bajarang Dal, Shri. Ashwin Pande, the President of ‘Hindu Surya Sena Akhada’ and Kum. Nidhi Bais spoke on the subject of ‘Problem of love jihad and its solution’.

In the third session, awareness was created towards activities undertaken for protection of cows and to fight back attacks on Hindus. A VCD was shown on the occasion showing incidents of attacks on Hindus and love jihad. An exhibition on atrocities against Hindus was also held at the venue.

About 150 youth and devout Hindus from Akola and taluka area attended the Convention.
