Such alert devout Hindus are wanted at all places !

Congratulations to devout Hindus for taking prompt action to prevent denigration of Deities !

Will the powerful pro-Hindu organizations follow example of HJS ?

Andheri-Mumbai : A competition to prepare advertisement was held on behalf of S. P. Jain College and ‘Ojas Fest’. It was observed that through advertisements prepared on the occasion, denigration of great leaders from Mahabharata and Hindu Deities had occurred. Shri. Seemit Sarmalkar of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) lodged a complaint with Andheri police station in this regard; including a complaint with ‘Cyber Crime’ branch. Then, pictures kept on Facebook page were withdrawn. (Such alert devout Hindus are wanted at all places ! – Editor, Dainik Sanatan Prabhat)

1.The first round of this competition was held ‘on line’ during 8th to 10th January and the second round was held at S. P. Jain College during 24th to 26th January 2015.

2. For the first round, participants were asked to prepare advertisement on the concept of ‘Mahabharata’, for ‘Van Heusen’ a company which manufactures clothes. The participants had drawn pictures of Pandavas, Draupadi, Pitamah Bheeshma, Karna so also of Deity Indra and Bhagavan Srikrushna in a very perverted manner hurting religious sentiments of Hindus. (Lack of unity amongst Hindus is the cause of constant denigration of their Deities. There is, therefore, dire need to impart Dharma-shikshan to Hindus for bringing change in this situation ! – Editor, Dainik Sanatan Prabhat) Shri. Sarmalkar lodged a complaint after which the pictures were withdrawn.

3. During the second round, advertisement was to be prepared making use of video, ‘power-point’ and ‘audio’. Considering denigration of Deities likely to take place even in this round, a complaint was lodged by HJS with the police, demanding cancellation of this competition and taking action against the concerned for hurting religious sentiments of Hindus.

4. Police went to the venue of the competition and made the concerned understand the subject. (Will police stop at taking similar action if religious sentiments of non-Hindus were hurt ? Indifference shown by police towards seats of worship of Hindus is the cause of others daring to insult Hindu Dharma ! 5. On the following day, members of pro-Hindu organizations visited the venue of the competition but they were informed that the last day of the competition was cancelled. Shri. Seemit Sarmalkar, Sou. Lata Bhat of HJS, Shri. Anil More, a devout Hindu were present at the venue throughout the day; besides, Shri. Dinesh Polekar, the President of ‘Samartha Janadhar Pratishthan’, its Vice President Shri. Sachin Shinde, Shri. Nitin Sutar, Shri. Surendra Pawar, Shri. Murugesh Devendra, Shiv Sena’s shakha-pramukh Shri. Yallappa Kushalkar also extended support.
