At this time, the famed Bharatacharya S.G. Shevade, BJP MLA Shri. Gopal Shetty, Shivsena leader Shri. Vinod Ghosalkar, Bhaktigyanmarg Sadhan Sanstha's Pujya Manoharanand Maharaj, Sanatan Sanstha's Shri. Vinay Panvalkar and HJS' Maharashtra State Spokesperson Shri. Ramesh Shinde expressed their views on topics such as Conversion of faith, Denigration of deities, Terrorism, Religious education (Dharmashikshan), Individual Spiritual Practice (Vyashti Sadhana) and induced the radiance of Hindu Dharma into the audience. Dr. Shubha Raaul, Mayor of Mumbai and Shri. Ram Naik, Center's Ex-Petroleum Minister also expressed their views

Likewise, the National Chairperson of the Sri Sri Jagadguru Shankaracharya Puri Peeth, Vedmurty Dhananjay Vaidyashastri said that, "Like other communities do, every Hindu should respect and have pride for Hindu Dharma and its religious leaders (Dharmagurus). It is the need of the hour for all Hindus to unite against the onslaughts occuring on Hindu Dharma from all directions. Everybody should get equipped for the testing times that the future holds in store."

In the present times, Hindu Dharma is being attacked from all directions because the Hindu community is not united and does not practice Dharma due to lack of religious education. In order to sustain Dharma in such testing times, Hindu Dharmajagruti Sabha's are being organised at 30 places in the states of Maharashtra, Goa and Karnataka. Out of them, this was the 6th Sabha which took place in the holy presence of saints.

Speeches of dignitaries

Hindus must educate their children in matters related to Dharma – Mayor Shubha Raul

Today's parents are very happy to blindly follow Western culture but they should try to impart knowledge about Hindu culture and Hindu Dharma. Hindu Dharma is all encompassing. In fact, Western countries are showing great interest in learning about Hindu Dharma as they are curious to know about principles of Hindu Dharma. On the other hand, committees like ANS are bent upon destroying objects worshipped and revered by Hindus. All Hindus must oppose their ploy. Every Hindu should learn sacred 'Bhagavat Geeta'. Name of a village in Kashmir, known as 'Martand Devi' has been changed to 'MuttonGaon' as Hindus are in minority. Hindus must come together and study matters related to their Dharma to avoid recurrence of such incidents.

Non-Hindus take advantage of the indifference of Hindus towards their objects of worship – Ramesh Shinde

There is no pride left in Hindus towards their nation and Dharma because Hindus are not united leading to such sorry state of affairs. Hindus have to remain alert to avoid denigration of their Dharma. Hindus are deprived of knowledge related to their Dharma unlike people following other faith. Owing to indifference of Hindus towards their objects of worship, anyone can come and draw obscene pictures of Hindu deities. Hindus, however, do not protest and followers of other faith and religion keep on insulting Hindus' objects of worship.

Sovereignty of Dharma has every right to guide Rulers in power – Vedamurti Dhananjaya Vaidyashastri

Hindu Janajagruti Samiti has been conducting 'Dharma-sabhas' all over the country. Thousands of Hindus are acquiring knowledge about their Dharma through the medium of such meetings. Here, people have gathered only for protection of Dharma without any selfish motive. This has sent a message to political parties that people can come together for the cause of Dharma. Sovereignty of Dharma has every right to guide Rulers in power. Parties like Shiv Sena and BJP should make use of such powers and work for the people. The very existence of Hindu Dharma is in danger and it is the need of the hour that Hindus come together. Christians try their best to at least visit the Pope once in their life time; Muslims can do anything to undertake Haj pilgrimage at least once in their lifetime; but how many Hindus have so far visited Dharma-peethas and respective Shakaracharyas. Hindus must think about it seriously.

The only Dharma is Hindu Dharma – Bharatacharya S G Shevade

Islam did not exist before the rise of Prophet Mohammad. Before Jesus Christ, Christian religion did not exit. Dharma does not have a Founder and therefore, the above 2 are Sects. There is no apt word in English for the word 'Dharma'. 'Sanatan, Veda and Arya' are the adjectives of Hindu Dharma. The basic principles of Science originated from India and were spread all over the world. The whole world received knowledge from this land. Not a single word from 'Vedas' has lost its significance with changing times. It is a way of devotion and faith to live as per the principles of Vedas.

Hindus must learn the science behind their traditions and customs and follow the same – Ram Naik

Study our traditions and customs as they are based on Science. There is a 'cause and effect' principle behind every custom. Therefore, study the science and follow the traditions. Only then we will have a healthy society. In the Parliament House, behind the chair of the Speaker, it is written as 'Dharmachakra Pravartak'' i.e. one who follows the rules. One that holds, assumes or bears is Dharma. We must seek knowledge about Dharma.

Hindus should unite and fight for protection of Dharma – Gopal Shetty, MLA, BJP

We can not win the fight till we are divided. Like Christians and Muslims, we Hindus must unite for the sake of Dharma. We should see that 'Ram-setu' is protected. We can not afford to be careless. We have to come together to protect our Dharma. It is necessary to generate power of Hindu unity to fight back the attacks on Hindu Dharma.

Hindus must start preparing from now!

I learnt that Balasaheb Thackeray has not been keeping well. I pray to God for his long life. It is learnt that there is a ploy to create communal disharmony in the State in the absence of Balasaheb. Even CBI is not aware of this ploy. Are his successors capable of stopping such riots? To prevent such riots, VHP may try, at the most, to stage agitations, BJP may file suit in court of law; however, to prevent the damage to Dharma, organizations like Sanatan Sanstha or Hindu Janajagruti Samiti or our Shankaracharya Peethas do not have sufficient manpower; whereas Shiv Sena has such manpower. I want to caution Shri. Uddhav Thackeray, right now, through you (Vinod Ghosalkar). These rioters want to test power of Hindus. Therefore, I am advising you to start preparations from now. If we start from now, victory is definitely ours!

The above statement was made by Vedamurti Dhananjay Vaidyashastri
