It is very shameful that in a State ruled by BJP, such demand has to be made. Will the Government protect ‘Gou-rakshaks’ and bring ‘good days’ (achchhe din) for Hindus ?

Gouraksha Abhiyan condemns BJP Govt. for harassing ‘Gou-rakshaks’

Dicholi (Goa) : Police and ‘Gou-rakshaks’, who had gone to stop cow-slaughter taking place at Walpai in the name of ‘qurbani’ in September 2013, were brutally attacked by fanatic jihadis. But based on  false complaints lodged by conceited jihadi women, police have filed charge-sheet against ‘Gou-rakshaks’. Supporting these fanatics, the Chief Minister, Home Minister and BJP Government is harassing ‘Gou-premis’. We condemn such act of the Government. The Magistrate or high-level officer or CID should conduct inquiry into this incident and bring truth before people, was the demand made by Shri. Hanumant Parab, the President of ‘Gou-vansh Raksha Abhiyan’ during a press conference held at Dicholi. Shri. Lakshman Joshi, Shri. Kamalesh Bandekar of ‘Bharat Swabhiman’, Shri. Dilip Mangaonkar of HJS and Smt. Shantabai Manerikar of ISKCON were present on the occasion.

‘Fight for protection of cows will be continued even at the cost of life ! – Lakshman Joshi

Shri. Lakshman Joshi said, “It is very despicable that ‘Gou-premis’, who are senior citizens, are being accused of such things and they are not given justice. The almighty God is however, keeping an eye on these people who are harassing ‘Gou-premis’ and He will punish them at the right time. Even if we have to sacrifice life to protect cows, we will continue this fight. We are honestly doing our work; but the falsehood of Muslim women would be exposed one day before people.”

The Government should not start wrong practice of implicating ‘Gou-premis’ in false cases when ‘Gou-premis’ are lawfully doing their work ! – Kamalesh Bandekar

Shri. Kamalesh Bandekar said, “Gou-rakshan is a part of protection of our culture. The Government should not intimidate activists by implicating them in false cases. It is injustice done to ‘Gou-rakshaks’ through such false complaints. The Government should withdraw these cases. We will meet the State Chief Minister and Governor. The Government should not start wrong practice of implicating ‘Gou-rakshaks’ under false complaints. Gou-rakshan’ was one of the major issues given in the election manifesto of BJP. This is one of the issues which has helped many leaders of BJP to become Chief Ministers in different States. ‘Gou-vansh Raksha Abhiyan’ demands that the BJP Government should not encourage wrong things happening in the State.”
