Andhra Pradesh : Devout Hindus’ unitedly agitate to declare Tirupati to as a Hindu city

Shame for the rulers for Hindus in majority have to make a demand of this nature !

Tirupati is a Holy place for Hindus. Therefore, Hindu organisation Hindu Dharmaraksha Samanvay Samiti here has made a demand that the city should be declared as a Hindu city. They have given a memorandum to the Tahasildar here stating this demand and a copy of the said memorandum is forwarded to the Government also. This organisation has started a movement in many Talukas in the state. 11oo devout Hindus participated in the rally organised at Karnul. Even the sadhus (sages) of the Sadhu Parishad had joined the rally.

Demands of the Samiti are :
1. Tirupati is a pilgrimage for Hindus and every year millions of devotees pay a visit to this pilgrimage. Around 30 thousand millions of rupees are collected as donations from these devotees every year.
2. As the working committee of this temple comprises politicians, about 6000 millions of rupees out of the donations are used for the people belonging to other faiths.
3. Seven hills are in the custody of Shri Balaji Temple.  The residents on these hills are Hindus only. Despite this, Christian’s Bible is distributed in these areas. They also try to spread Christianity and convert the people there.
4. Last year Christian priests were arrested in 5 different cases; but they were punished for one month and then released. This has made them more enthusiastic.
5. Not a single politician is a member of the working committees of Mosques and Churches; but they interfere in the working of the temple. This is absolutely unfair.
6. Persons belonging to other faiths are taken up as workers. This poses danger to the holiness of the temple.
7. If the government does not take cognizance of these demands immediately then there will be agitations all over the state.

If no temple is allowed in Vatican then why churches in Tirupati ? – Ramanjaneya, Secretary, Hindu Dharmaraksha Samanvay Samiti

 Will Hindus be allowed to build a temple in Vatican, the land of Christians ? Then Christians have no right to build a church in Tirupati city, the Holy land of Hindus. People from all over the world come to have darshan of Shri Balaj. There is no reason for people from other faiths to come here ? Will Hindus be allowed to spread Hinduism in Mecca and Vatican ? Then how people from other religions get permission to spread their religion in Hindus’ Holy pilgrimage Tirupati ? All this must stop, was the demand made by Ramanjaneya, Secretary, Hindu Dharmaraksha Samanvay Samiti.

Other demands made by devout Hindus from the government

1. Political interference in the working committee of Shri Balaji Temple in Tirupati should stopped and they should be replaced by religious Hindus !
2. Workers belonging to other faiths should be removed !
3. More than 350 illegal churches in the city should be removed !
4. Spread of other religions in the city should be banned !
