Shahapur (Thane): guidance on ‘sadhana’ (spiritual practice) to police trainees

Shahapur-Thane (Maharashtra) : In association with Vishwatmak Jangali Maharaj Ashram Mahavidyalay, Shahapur, on behalf of Hindu Janajagaritu Samiti (HJS), the rural police trainees were given guidance on ‘Sadhana’.

While explaining about sadhana, Dr. Uday Dhuri of HJS touched upon various aspects of sadhana like, the importance of Hindu Dharma and its culture, chanting Family Deity’s Name, arrangement of various idols of Deities in the altar (temple at home), concentration of the mind, duties of the police towards the nation and Dharma etc. With the invaluable assistance of Mr. S.D. Deshmukh, Mr. Madhukar Deshmukh, the founder and president of an educational institution, Mr. Dilip Patil, Mr. Jagtap, Dr. Srikant Tarmale, Asst. Police Sub-inspector Vakse, Headconstable Kate, the programme would not have been a success !

A workshop on ‘Protection of cows’ conducted by the Chief of Swadeshi Mandir, Arya Jitendraji was held prior to this programme.
