Staunch Hindus show a glimpse of fury by raising nonstop slogans

On the second consecutive day today, staunch Hindus held demonstrations in front of the Saffron Art Gallery at Prabhadevi. They expressed their fury by raising slogan for the whole day thus creating awareness among the local people towards the issue. It was just a glimpse of their rage against M F Hussain for denigrating Hindu deities and ‘Bharatmata’. Without thinking of the consequences, a pervert painter like M F Hussain has drawn obscene and nude paintings of the Hindu deities and ‘Bharatmata’ and has thus trampled the feelings of Hindus and nationalists. The demonstrations were held against auction of such paintings by Hussain. An ‘On line’ auction of Hussain’s paintings was organized by the Saffron Art Gallery since yesterday. Requests were made from all over the world by staunch Hindus and nationalists through email for preventing this auction; but the organizers did not pay heed. Today on the second day too, there was an unprompted response from people. Members from the general public and shop-owners from the surrounding area came forward to sign in support of the agitation. Many representatives of various channels tried to meet the organizers to know their side of the story but no one was available from the organizers’ side nor were media-persons allowed entry by the security personnel. They were expressing their displeasure to the members of HJS over the attitude of the organizers.
