​N.C.E.R.T. should teach the complete history of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj ! – Minister Ramdas Kadam

N.C.E.R.T.’s distortion of history through the text books prescribed !

Mumbai : All patriots are furious about Central Government N.C.E.R.T.’s distortion of history giving false information, insulting national leaders and freedom fighters, misleading students by giving wrong information about Indian culture through the text books prescribed for 7th, 10th and 12th std. The history of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj is covered only in 6 lines; whereas the Moghul invaders’ information is given 60 pages.

Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) has presented a demand to the Environment Minister, Shri. Ramdas Kadam stating that this should be changed immediately. Shri. Ramdas Kadam has also written letters to the Chief Minister and the Education Minister asking that the complete history of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj be taught.

The delegation that met the Minister comprised of BJP MLA from Kalyan Shri. Narendra Pawar, State ?convenor ?of HJS Shri. Sunil Ghanvat as well as Samiti coordinator from Vidarbha, Shri. Shrikant Pisolkar. The Samiti has made it clear that as long as the appropriate history of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj and other national leaders is not taught the Samiti will continue its campaign.
