Nagpur (Maharashtra) : In Vidhan Bhavan, Warkari Sampradaya and pro-Hindu organizations submitted a representation to Shri. Dilip Kambale, the Minister for Social Justice demanding to conduct inquiry into complaints received against the Government committee set up under Prof. Shyam Manav, the Joint President of the committee for implementation of anti-superstitions Act; as Prof. Manav has been constantly hurting religious sentiments of Hindus and making derogatory statements against Saint Dnyaneshwar.

It has also been demanded that the persons found guilty in this matter should be punished. Shri. Kambale gave instructions to immediately stop programs proposed to be held on behalf of committee headed by Prof. Shyam Manav.

Shri. Narendra Pawar, BJP’s MLA, Shri. Sunil Ghanavat of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti etc. were present on the occasion. They had detailed discussions with Shri. Kambale in this context while demanding that the Government committee set up under Prof. Shyam Manav should be immediately dissolved as it was hurting religious sentiments of Warkari Sect instead of propagation of anti-superstitions Act which was the purpose of setting up such committee by the then Congress Government, allocating funds of Rs. 1 crore.
