RSS demand to declare ‘Ram-Setu’ as national monument!

Kolhapur (Maharashtra): The Congress-front Government at the Centre is assaulting Hindu Dharma to hurt religious sentiments of Hindus. As a part of its policy, a plan to demolish ‘Ram-setu’ has been brought forth by the Government. It is unfortunate that in a country where Hindus are supposed to be in majority, they have to fight to safeguard their faiths. The Central Government should declare ‘Ram-setu’ as national monument. The above demand was made by Shri. Adinath Patil, the District Co-Sanghachalak of RSS. He was addressing a meeting held at the conclusion of procession taken out by ‘Ram-Setu Raksha Manch (RRM)’. The procession was taken out by RRM with a view to make Hindus aware on the issue and bring them together for protection of ‘Ram-setu’. Many saints and religious leaders attended the procession and the atmosphere was full of divine energy due to their presence.

Jagatguru Shankaracharya Vidyashankar Bharati of Karveer Peeth, H.H. Bhanudas Yadav Maharaj of Warakari Sampradaya, Shri. Vitthal Patil, keertankar participated in the procession right from the beginning. Besides, Prof. Vijay Desai, District-President of BJP, Shri. Rambhau Chavan, District-chief of Shiv Sena, Shri. Rajesh Kshirsagar, chief of Western Maharashtra Vidyarthi Sena, Shri. Shreekant Potnis of VHP, Shri. Sambhaji Salunkhe of Bajarang Dal, Shri. Makarand Patil, Shankar More of Warakari Sampradaya and members of HJS took part in the procession. The procession was taken with ‘Ram-shila’ through various areas in Kolhapur.
