Bengaluru: Complaint to City Commisssioner opposing ‘KissOfLove’ event

Press Release

Bengaluru : Complaint Under Section 294(a) & 120A of the Indian Penal Code, against the organizers of “KissOfLove” protest in city.

It is hereby brought to your notice that there are a few people predominantly from outside Bengaluru (hostlers & paying guests) along with perverted children of separated parents (divided homes), have hatched a Criminal conspiracy to organize an illegal & Obscene programme of Kissing in public, to the annoyance of others on M.G.Road, in the name of “Kiss Of Love”.

Indian Culture being a Common Way of life of the People of India, with diverse Languages, religions, dance, music, architecture, food and customs may differ from place to place within the country, is also an amalgamation of several cultures, which spans across the Indian subcontinent, that has been influenced by a history and has also influenced history that has had a profound impact across the world.  India is also one of the most religiously diverse nations in the world, with some of the most deeply religious beliefs, values, societies and cultures.

The Illegal & Obscene programme Kissing in Public, against established restrictions public vulgarity in any Civilized & more so in our Indian Culture, that has been conspired to be held on M.G.Road is something that can perversely impact Society in general & the youth in particular, which no religion Hindu, Muslim, Christian, Sikh, Buddhists, Jains or Parsi would ever Tolerate, Allow or Encourage, need to be stopped.

The programme is being organised in the guise of opposing Moral policing by vigilante groups belonging to the Sangh Pariwar, such as the RSS, Hindu Jagaran Vedike, Bajarang Dal, VHP etc. The actions of these vigilante groups in the past have been of moral policing & enforcing a ‘very debatable’ Code of Morality in Society, an activity that even the government or police sometimes deem to be “immoral” and/or “against Indian Culture”.

It is widely presumed in public that Protection of the Indian Culture is the Monopoly of the Sangh Parivar – RSS, Hindu Jagaran Vedike, VHP, BajarangDal & the likes of Srirama Sena’s in India and that they are the sole Missionaries entrusted with the contract of protecting Indian Culture.

This is a false notion as every Indian Christian’s, Muslims, Sikhs, Buddhists, Jain or Parsi has the right, morality, courage and responsibility to protect India’s Cultural Ethos, which has not been mortgaged and surrendered to the Sangh Pariwar.

In our/any society there is an Unwritten and tacit agreement believed to exist among the members of a community or group of Human beings, that guides individual behavior and establishes personal rights and responsibilities. Such a Social Contract is deemed essential for any organised group behavior and in democratic societies, certain enforceable codes are embodied in its National Constitution through various laws, for Prevention and Punishment of certain actions of individuals or a group of individuals and one such Law in India is the Indian Penal Code 1860.

Wherefore, it is prayed that the organizers of the Illegal & Obscene programme in Bengaluru be booked Under Section 120(a) for conspiracy of committing a crime Under Section 294(a) of the Indian Penal Code in the interest of Enforcement of the Rule of Law(of human beings) in Bengaluru in Particular and the Country in General, failing which the well meaning Citizens, members of public may be forced to take law into it’s hands to prevent the perpetuators of the planned Criminal Acts from destroying the Social fabric of Bengaluru.
