Alandi, Pune (Maharashtra) : Thousands of authorized and unauthorized slaughter-houses are committing sin by converting the holy land of great Saints and Seers of Maharashtra into a profane, gory land splattered with cows’ blood.

Now, a Government which will protect Indian culture has been elected in the Centre as well as the State; therefore, the Bill imposing ban on cow-slaughter should be immediately passed without further delay. The Government should also act against attacks on nation and Dharma.

Warakari ‘Maha-adhiveshan’ will be held on 19th November at Sri-kshetra Alandi to discuss the above demands. This information was given by H.B.P. Maruti Maharaj Tuntune, the Vice President of Rashtriya Warakari Sena, H.B.P. Shyam Maharaj Rathod (Rashtriya Yuva Kirtankar), H.B.P. Ramchandra Penore Maharaj and Shri. Sunil Ghanavat (Maharashtra Convener of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti) in a press conference held at Patrakar Bhavan joined by representatives of other Warakaris and pro-Hindu organizations.

On the occasion of Shri-Sant Dnyaneshwar Mauli Sanjeevan Samadhi ceremony, such adhiveshan is being jointly organized by Warakari Sampradaya and the HJS for the past 9 years.
