Promise to arrange for funds for Kumbh-Mela
Nasik (Maharashtra) : Sou. Seema Mahesh Hire, newly elected MLA of BJP from West Nasik constituency, was felicitated by Sou. Sunita Gite, Shri. Rahul Patil and Shri. Shailesh Pote on behalf of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti. She was presented a picture-frame of Shri Ganesh (prepared by Sanatan seekers).
Discussions were also held on Kumbh-Mela scheduled to take place in 2015. It was pointed out that the local Municipal Corporation, State Government and Central Government were not paying attention to this event even though it is only 6 months away. She was requested to meet Prime Minister (PM) Shri. Narendra Modi as soon as possible and arrange for funds by discussing the matter with him. She mentioned that she has already discussed the issue with PM and assured the HJS members funds required for Kumbh-Mela would not be inadequate.
