Odisha : Mammoth prayer meeting for release of H. H. Sant-shri Asaramji Bapu

Puri (Odisha) : Corrupt and criminals are getting bail even when accusations against them have been proved; but no accusation has been proved against H. H. Sant-shri Asaramji Bapu and he has not been granted bail either. A mammoth prayer meeting was held on 7th November at ‘Srikshetra’ Puri to draw attention of the central BJP Government to this issue and to create awareness amongst people. Many seers-Saints, representatives of pro-Hindu organizations had come from all over the country for this meeting. Shri. Ramesh Shinde, the national Spokesperson of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) also attended the meeting. ‘Rath-yatra’ was taken out at 2.00 p.m. on the same route as ‘Rath-yatra’ of Sri Jagannath is taken out. The ‘Rath-yatra’ concluded with the meeting. Shri. Ramesh Shinde expressed his views in the meeting.

Modi Government has been elected with votes of Hindus; therefore, it should give priority to fulfill Hindus’ demands. It has been 5 months since the Government has come in power; but Sadhvi Pradnya Singh Thakur and Sant-shri Asaram Bapu are still languishing in jail without any of the accusations made against them having been proved. When they are released with due honour, good days will truly follow. Shri. Kailash Satyarthi is honoured with international award like Nobel Prize for releasing child labourers; but Hindu Saint, who uplifted life of children through Gurukul and ashrams, is denied bail by the Government. It is very unfortunate for Hindus. All Saints attending the meeting also demanded release of Sant-shri Bapuji as truth will prevail soon. Like Jagatguru Shankaracharya of Kanchi Kamkoti Peetha, Sant-shri Bapuji will also be acquitted. The devotees present for the meeting said that he was being accused of cheating; but in fact, he has shown path of release to millions of souls trapped in the cycle of birth-death.

About 5000 devotees attended the meeting and the program was telecast on ‘Disha’ channel all over the world. Shri. Ramesh Shinde narrated his experience of seeing a halo around the flags displayed in ‘yatra’ that was taken on the route of Sri Jagannath Yatra.
