Illegal madarassa removed after Shiv Sena's demonstrations

Mumbai (Maharashtra): The anti-Encroachment squad of Municipal Corporation demolished unauthorized madarassa in Kaju Tekadi area at Bhandup as a result of demonstrations staged by Shiv Sena. In Kaju Tekadi area in Bhandup, Naim Khot had constructed this unauthorized madarassa about 3 months ago. (It is the Muslim tendency to grab anything they can lay hands on wherever they go. – Editor)

An old banyan tree was also cut for constructing the unauthorized structure. The local residents felt that although there was a mosque and a madarassa in the neighboring Pathanwadi and when there were only 2 Muslim families in Kaju tekadi area, there was no need to construct madarassa. (Such instances are the proof that Muslims have become so insolent due to policy of all politicians to woo them. – Editor)

The local residents were afraid of the ruffian type of persons visiting the madarassa. (Will the government and the police have guts to set up enquiry into the matter? – Editor)

Locals were feeling very insecure in the area as people from areas like Mumbra used to visit the madarassa for reading ‘namaz’. Locals also lodged complaint with Assistant Commissioner Shri. Kale of ‘S’ zone but they have accused Shri. Kale of providing security for the madarassa. (Municipal Corporation must declare as to what action they propose to take against Shri. Kale. Had the matter involved an unauthorized temple, Administration would have been very prompt in its demolition. – Editor)

Shiv Sainiks held very strong agitations outside the office of Shri. Kale and threatened him that the agitation would not be withdrawn unless the madarassa was removed. Looking at the unyielding demand of Shiv sainiks, Shri. Kale had no option but to issue orders for demolition of the unauthorized structure.
